DAY 4 - km0.0-19.9 (!) - Customs clearance
November 16, 2011, 19:34
Today finally got the Bike out of the customs. It seams that the stamp in the papers is more important as what is in the Box.
Nobody checked what is in the bags or in the boxes so the calculation of the invoice was beside the mounting of the front tire the most time consuming moment.
So i have the bike now with me and right now i am organizing the luggage and will leave the cold and foggy Valparaiso tomorrow.
Against the recommentation from our stressed "Herbergsmutter" Martina, i will drive direction Mendoza to see how the bike and myself could handle the elevation and the will go north.
